Altus Dynamics Adds Sudbury Catholic District School Board To Its Growing List Of School Board Clients

Canadian based ERP & CRM solutions provider Altus Dynamics announced today that they have increased their sector strength in the School Board market with the addition of Sudbury Catholic District School Board to their client community.

Sudbury Catholic DSB recently underwent a competitive bidding process in order to select a company to supply, install, implement, support and maintain a new Financial Accounting System. The Board needed to update their financial system so they could gain more efficient operational processes from a more modern solution and technology platform. Other key reasons were automating key functions and finance tasks, offering simpler school portal user access, as well as simplify and reducing the time it takes to complete key stakeholder reporting, including Ministry reports.

"We have high expectations of Altus Dynamics EDU to help with core operational and finance functions in our Board. The experience of Altus Dynamics with school boards and their solution capabilities were key factors that steered us to this sound decision." commented Dennis Bazinet, Superintendent of Business and Finance at Sudbury Catholic DSB. "Coming off a custom in-house solution and installing a complete Microsoft based EDU solution will give us more stability in technology, access to a large user group and install base with the ability to affordably stay current on technology." he added.

Altus will be implementing a range of modules from their Altus EDU Suite including Financial Management, Reporting, Document Management and School Portals.

Altus Dynamics continues to grow and strengthen its presence in the Canadian District School Board sector. Sudbury Catholic, once live, will be joining other Boards including York Region DSB, Bruce-Grey Catholic DSB, Avon Maitland DBS, Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools and Louis Riel School Division on the Altus EDU platform.

"We're delighted to welcome Sudbury to our long list of Education clients. They're an organisation that spent a couple of years evaluating the market, including our solution, and we are very excited that after their detailed due diligence process they chose Altus to help them implement their new Financial Accounting System. We're all really looking forward to working with the folks at Sudbury and more importantly, exceeding their solution expectations." commented Altus Dynamics' Managing Partner, Colin Dickinson.
